$200 and 2 months of my life...

...made a big difference in my kitchen. In case you're wondering, I used roughly40 cans of spray paint and primer.

BEFORE................................and AFTER
(please don't tell me you liked it better before) ;)

I'm almost done; I still need to decorate (accessories in window), make some sort of window treatment, stain island & table and redo stools. Sounds like a lot, but after doing those cabinets it seems very doable! lol I could have done it in a lot less time, but I between kids, summer and school, I just did a section at a time. Soooooooooo glad to be done. What do you think? I'm thinking the kitchen looks/feels bigger. It's not perfect, but it's the best I could do....and it's done!

Wow that looks amazing! I thought you were going with a blue for the walls, was I just making that up?

I actually first painted the walls a taupe/grey/tan...loved it w/ the cabinets, but not w/ my colors (yellow, robin egg blue and red). So I repainted the walls yellow. I did however, paint the inside of my pantry the spa/robin egg blue! Just a fun little surprise when you open it up. Love that color so much I had to include it somewhere else.

Julie,
I didn't get your email about lunch tomorrow. I don't even have your cell phone numbers - I will look to make sure. My number is 702-463-7147. Call me tomorrow or text me and let me know what your ETA is.

I am so excited!

This looks so great! And it does make the kitchen look huge. I keep trying to convince Randy to let me try something like this, but he think (and he's probably right) that I won't have your kind of patience, stamina and follow-through to get it done right! You are awesome.

Amazing! Great job, Julie! :) I didn't envy your project one iota...my cabinets still make me think twice about future projects --- five years later! :) They're beautiful! And you know I"m partial to yellow...I think it looks soft and wonderful! :) Can't wait to eventually see it in person.
