*Rhubarb pie
*chocolate chip cookies with zucchini...pulled out of the freezer in an old ice cream tub
*clogging in the backyard for G'ma, G'pa and Arva and Merrill
*the white candy dish
*watching 21 Jump Street in the basement during our Sunday night visits (just the kids...not the g'parents! lol)
*Grandma's old doll, framed in the living room
*The hallway with the multi photo frame with family pictures of all the Jensens
*Grandpa's office with all the bookshelves and old typewriter
*neatly tied bundles of mail, photos, coupons, etc with handwritten notes by my g'ma
I'm so glad we took the time to drive by...it was wonderful to fill my mind and heart with memories of them.

Sarah's glasses are cute. Aja has something similar.
Sorry I missed you while in Utah. It would have been great to see you. I didn't have a spare moment and Carmen didn't end up coming. We'll definitely see you next time!
Julie,
Hey just found your blog from Jackie's. Anyway, blogs are so fun! We are able to catch up with each other. Hey, we miss you!!! We have to make it over to your house next time we go to Utah.

J - how fun to live in a place where you have access to your roots like that. It might not be right in the neighborhood, but its within driving. I get nostalgic when I am in Chicago and drive to New Castle street where my g'parents house was. They built it in 1930 and I remember everything from the creaky attic stairs and glass doorknobs, playing their Xylophone in the basement and playing in the "gang way". I can't wait to be able to show my kids where I spent so many weekends one day.
Chad, you look sexy my man! Ok, don't think for one second this is Karen complimenting...watch it buddy!! (hahaha)
Miss you guys a lot...when ya coming to Vegas to spend some money? :)
