A little project...

My sister, Heather and I did a fun project yesterday. We made upholstered headboards. All it took was some plywood, batting, fabric, nail heads and staples. Final cost? Fifty dollars! Not bad for a king size headboard. Since we were limited on tools and talent, we kept the design profile and details very simple. Once we worked out a few kinks, it went really fast. I think it turned out pretty good and it's nice to finally have a headboard!

You are hired! I need one for Tyler's room with a slightly more juvenile feel.

It's lovely, Julie! Really! Great job and on your first try! Though I expect nothing less from one as talented as you!
